Operations Intern

As an Operations Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the operations of Hive Health-HPPI by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of provider information. You will be responsible for verifying provider details, managing data collection, and maintaining key documentation. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare operations while contributing to a vital aspect of the business. This role offers a chance to learn about provider management processes and healthcare operations, providing valuable experience for those interested in the healthcare industry.

Internship Details

• Duration: 3-6 months with potential for absorption depending on performance and business need.
• Schedule: Must be able to commit at least 2 full days per week 
• Equipment: Must have own laptop and mobile phone.

Responsibilities

As an Operations Intern, your areas of responsibility include:

• Engage with providers by verification of accreditation status and facilitation of onboarding sessions.
• Collect and update essential provider data on the portal based on verified information.
• Organize and maintain records by updating information in a timely manner and ensuring proper digital storage.
• Support and coordinate closely with other functions to deliver an extraordinary provider experience.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Medical Operations team, including but not limited to accreditation of new providers, stakeholder coordination, and other administrative/operational tasks

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
• Proactive and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic proficiency in Google Sheets or similar data management tools.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

1. Interview with HR (30 minutes)
2. Take home assessment (2 days to accomplish)
3. Final interview with Provider Partnerships Manager (30-45 minutes)
