About the Role
As a Compensation and Benefits Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate payroll processing, seamless benefits administration, and compliance with labor and tax regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining employee records, handling salary adjustments, managing government-mandated benefits, and overseeing tax filings and annualization. Working closely with HR and Finance, you will help drive efficient and employee-friendly compensation and benefits processes that contribute to a positive work experience.
Location
This is a hybrid role based in Metro Manila, Philippines, subject to change based on business needs. While most work may be accomplished remotely, you must be able to commute to our office in the Ortigas area at least once per week, as needed.

Responsibilities
As a Compensation and Benefits Associate, your areas of responsibility include:
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring correct computation of salaries, overtime, and deductions.
- Manage government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), including enrollment, contributions, and claims processing.
- Administer employee benefits such as health insurance, leave credits, and other company-offered perks.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal compensation policies, preparing reports as needed.
- Handle tax-related responsibilities, including monthly tax filings, annualization, and ensuring accurate computation and remittance of employee taxes.
- Address employee concerns related to payroll, taxes, and benefits, providing clear and timely resolutions.
- Support audits and compliance checks by maintaining accurate payroll, tax, and benefits records.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance team to enhance compensation and benefits processes.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in payroll processing, compensation, or benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, payroll systems, tax filing procedures, and government-mandated benefits.
- Experience with annualization and tax computation is a plus.
- Proficiency Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- High attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- A proactive, organized, and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Interview with HR (30-45 minutes)
- Take home assessment (2 days to accomplish)
